juz came back from the hospital... my mother juz had her sexual reproductive system removed cos of the fabroid that is in her womb and ovary... now she's really weak and tired... but when i saw her smile, at least i feel happy... ad now she feels a sense of relief... as in everything is over =)

realised that life is so fragile... anything can happen to ur dearest around u... juz when u thought that u are so strong and healthy, u juz do not know wat happens in the next minute... really have to treasure life... after all, health is the best wealth.

haven't been blogging for ages... but now really feel like blogging

i realised nowadays that when i watch dramas like 斗牛要不要 or listening to music, i tend to have feelings easily... like being touched by songs or smth else... i dunnoe whether it's a good thing... but i think maybe i've grown... i really dunnoe about myself... ystd before i slept, i went to listen to my mp3 player and then suddenly i have a few songs in my head to listen... after listening i was like touched... like the sudden rush to drop my tears... but i dunnoe why it didn't happen... songs like 傻瓜 by 曾沛慈 and 你是我的眼 by 林宥嘉 have caused me to suddenly feelings... is this good or bad... i really dunnoe :(

meeting the ns guys on sat as a cls... really glad that the cls can be together again... really miss the cls... the days when we are united and helping each other... and we will be together forever =)

came back from my cls chalet this afternoon... but these few days was fun... i muz say actually =)
firstly there's prom nite on 4/12 at the marriott and the theme is salsa fever, which actually is quite hard to find a costume to fit this theme... but we juz bought our own costume and it turned out good... but the highlight ois that dwayne won the 1st price which is an 80GB ipod... hahax... can store approximately 10,000 songs if each song is in mp3 format 128kbps... but i heard from him saying that he intends to sell it away... hahax
after the prom nite we went to party world ktv to sing cos our cls decided to burn midnight oil till 6am the next day... hahax... first time for me attempting this... but i like it... the feeling is absolutely out of this world.... and there's this unique feeling in the night life in s'pore... although it cannot be compared to US and European countries... for the 1st half of the ktv we actually watched more mtv than singing and the fact is that we started to play the table soccer provided at the ktv cos it's free... hahax... those that we normally requires payment and there's only a limited number of balls... then for the 2nd half of the ktv the mood started to live up butt by that time most of us fell asleep cos it's not very easy to stay awake overnite and it requires loads of stamina... but overall the ktv experience was two thumbs up =)
on wed we had our 0621 cls chalet... have been waiting for this even before the start of our A levels... generally the chalet is good in terms of lounging... played xbox360 where majority of the time was spent on Halo3, mahjong, cycling, watching DVD, play cards and so on... for the 1st nite we had our bbq and the funny thing is when wilson played FIFA08 with simon... it's like everybody is making fun of wilson... he keeps saying "tian cai passing" and other phrases relating to "tian cai"... but he's a funny person... in addition, the guys played Halo3 till arnd 4plus unknowingly... and i oso thought that it's only 2plus at that time... by the time everybody slept, wilson, tricia and i watched secrets DVD, although i slept for arnd 30mins during the movie... but wilson really was the best... he can literally survived thru the nite without closing his eyes... i really respect him... then when ate mac breakfast on the 2nd day, jack tld me that my eyebag and black eye rings were really serious... and he said that's the disadvantage of not wearing glasses cos if one wears glasses, it can hide away the eyebag and eye rings... haiz... it's ok with me... juz be urself
on the 2nd day, we played mahjong and cycled... i finally noe how to cycle... but not till the level where i can fully rely on single bike cos i still need to work on my cycling especially on uphill and downslope... but it's still a landmark achievement for me... in addition i get to play the real mahjong game... and it was quite fun... although i do sometimes get laughed for not understanding the rules well, but i believe that this is part and parcel in learning the game... only then can u become a better player... although mahjong is a lot on luck... we oso watched DVD at nite, or shld i say in the morning... watched scary movie 4 which is totally lame, Just My Luck and My Wife Is A Gangster 3... but i was too tired that i slept halfway thru the movie... haiz
overall the chalet was really fun and i truly enjoy it... now there's cycling outinf on sunday at ECP (maybe) and christmas gift xchange =)

went to watch "不能说的秘密" on thursday, which is on national day lor... i muz say that the movie is really nice leh... i was impressed that jay chou can think of such a storyline, although i've noticed some loopholes to this movie... but nvm, at least i like this movie... i even watched it again on friday... but this time it's from the internet... hahax... quite bad leh

to be frank, i almost cried when it reaches the last 30 minutes of the movie... and i fully realised the essence of the movie... when i watch a movie, i usually juz look at the surface and juz accept that it's juz a movie... but this movie has allowed me to go deep in thought and analysed the whole movie... and btw... 桂纶镁 is really sweet... hahax... juz couldn't this movie can be so attractive =)

one line that actually gave me the deepest impression is

hihi... juz came back from the 30 Hour Famine Camp at Republic Polytechnic... ok... firstly the whole campus of RP is air-conditioned, so somehow i dun get the feeling of surviving in a harsh environment... but still, there are life lessons i've learnt during this camp
actually when we eat our own food, we may waste our food and juz throw it away... however have we ever thought of the children who are suffering in the developing countries, especially those that are poverty-stricken... the fact is that every child deserves a life to its fullness, and they should not be deprieved of any necessities... sometimes their family is so poor that even the mother is unable to support the children for a meal, and worse still, they may be suffering from diseases like AIDS, guinea worm etc... they do not have access to proper clean water anddo not have a shelter over their head... in s'pore, $1.50 may only be able to get u a drink, but in the developing countries, this amount is sufficient for them to fulfil their meals daily
actually thru this camp, i got to understand the gravity of the problem in developing countries like mongolia, lesotho and myanmar... and we met ly long who came from cambodia... he had to work daily and pick up rubbish so that he could support the family... and he even mentioned that children do not deserve to work so hard as it's considered embarrassing to pick up rubbish, and sometimes he had to tolerate the laughter and mockery that passerby gave him... he think that children shld be given a chance to get education, which we may take for granted in s'pore... and he hopes that he can be a teacher when he grow up so that he can pass on the knowledge and well-beings to the future generation
actually i think all children shld deserve a living to its maximum... and poverty shld be eradicated, but with the help of everybody... we can do small things to ensure we can do a part for these children such as volunteering our time and not wasting food
i'm actually thinking of going back next year to help out in the Famine Camp, but first muz settle NS... hahax :)

now i juz dun feel like myself... actually i dunnoe why lor... it's like i'm feeling that i'm slackier than previously, and it's juz that this odd feeling tells me that i'm beyond my normal self... suddenly i've no confidence in myself... and i dun feel this confidence in this mid-year exam... i've got this hunch that i'm going to disappoint everyone, which i definitely dun want... and i dun want it to happen... mrs wang has already told me about her expectations on me... and i dun think i can meet it... haiz... juz feel so low =(
juz want to say something oso... i knew all along that u are going thru a major battle, which is not easy. the pain can be lessen, but what's important is that u will learn through the process. i've oso experienced my own pain, and i've learnt a lot too. so juz want to say dun give up, and everybody will be arnd u to give u support and lessen the pain, including me

ystd juz had SMO at NUS LT27... the number theory qns is DAMN HARD LOR!!! really nothing to say... but the geometry qns is rather ok... but i dun expect anything from this SMO... all i wanted was to experience the fun of it and basically enjoy... after that went to the Faculty of Engineering to look for Dr Jacoob Wang (hehe... mrs wang's husband)... he showed Joel, Jin Hao and i his workplace and research lab... aftre much explanation, i realised that his research mainly focuses on material engineering... and quite a bit relation with quantum physics like the STM... quite interesting actually... can actually see the practical side of quantum physics =)
tml having physics SPA Skill A... then monday going to Eng Wah Suntec to watch Shrek 3... 14 june having NS Medical Checkup... oso 16 to 17 june having Famine Camp... hahax... quite a lot activity coming up... PLUS MID-YEAR EXAM!!! muz chiong la =)

2dae was juz ur average and typical day... but sianz lor... go home still need to study for Organic Chemistry test... wahhhhhhhhhhh... dun feel like studying lor... but no choice.. wat to do... Organic Chemistry is the worst part in Chemistry... although if u understand it well, it can be very easy and interesting... hahax :)

this week played bridge a few times in sch... and i got a hang of it liao... after such a long time... in the past, i really anyhow play... and it's like i dunnoe wat i'm doing... and u will hear me keep saying "PASS"... that's all... now... hehe... at least noe how to bid properly liao... and oso choosing partner... felt quite nice winning on fri with wilson and jin hao... hahax
i muz say... bridge is the only poker card game that i fully enjoy... besides hearts oso... cos it's really about luck and lots of strategy... hahax... ystd went to borders bookstore with my mother cos later eating dinner with my aunty at centrepoint... then when i looked arnd, i went to look for books on "bridge"... then saw a dummy guide to "Bridge"... but i muz tell u... it's very hard to understand thru words... it will be the best to learn thru practice and playing... hahax... now seems addicted liao... dunnoe whether a good sign or not :)

(1) Spider-Man 3 [muz watch!!! watching with my cls :)]

(2) Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End [hahax... this one muz watch... watch the trailer liao... hope can anticipate some funny scenes... wilson will definitely want to watch... which oso goes to me :)]

(3) Transformers (for this one, i'm not sure... but most likely watching)

(4) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (haiz... never watch the Goblet of Fire... this time muz definitely watch!!!)

(5) The Simpsons Movie in 2D [hahax... some ppl may think it's childish... but this is my favourite cartoon show during my childhood days... have to watch it on the big screen... and the only movie this year in 2D!!! :)]

another week gone... tml is the last lecture for my H3 module... and after that we are alone to prepare for the FINAL EXAM... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! the ultimate test for any university module... but tml oso have lab quiz... luckily it's open-book format... or else i'll be spending time memorising the MATLAB code... hahax :)
haiz... have been very tired since i got into this H3 module... somehow no energy to concentrate on my other stuff... it's like my brain sometimes becomes stagnant, which is definitely no good... mondays reach home at arnd 9pm... after taking my dinner and showering, i'm quite drained off... then wednesday reach home at arnd 7pm... quite ok la, but the trip back from NUS is very tiring... haiz... luckily this is going to be over... juz left the final exam... jiayou jiayou jiayou!!!
juz had a chat with angie on thurs night... then suddenly realised my life lessons which is definitely worthwhile learning... knew that angie has learnt a lot although she has suffered a lot within the JC life... she oso comforted me as i'm very tired at that time... then oso i realised lots of stuff when chatting to her... and she agreed
during this period of my NUS H3 module, i've gained quite a lot of insights... during lecture i see different kinds of ppl... those who are hardworking and taking down notes during lecture, ppl who wear slippers and relax, ppl who carry laptop and sometimes play com games, ppl who shake leg and those who sleep and many more... but at the end of the day, when the final exam comes, no matter how lazy or attentive u are during lecture, it's the exam paper that determines everything... and by that time, ppl oso wear various kinds of attire... not like now when we all muz full-uniform... this is totally different... it's university exam, not ur a-levels or o-levels... a degree or honours degree is at stake... the whole situation is completely different... but i think i've only experienced part of it, cos it's only one module... when i'm in their shoes then i'll finally realise wat it's like to be a university student :)
but quite enjoyed my stay at NUS... really want to try the claypot omelette again... hahax :)

3 more weeks to the end of my NUS H3 module liao... but of course got one last hurdle... THE FINAL TERM EXAM... this is the most sickening part... cos have to prepare help-sheet... which will take several hours to do so... sianz... but soon i will be over... hahax :)
juz signed up for SMO competition open category... together with joel, simon and jin hao... and they'll be training for this competition... and i really want to do well... cos it's wat i always wanted... although it's definitely easy... but that's the feeling i want to have... i juz cannot stop it!!! the urge is already there... and i'm eager gor it... so have to go for it
haiz... nowadays getting more tired... and my eyelid sometimes gets really heavy... sometimes i force myself not to dose off cos i believe it can be used to do more efficient stuff... but it's futile... and useless... haiz... really want to find one day so that i can sleep properly and comfortably (without any disruption)... that's the way to go... sometimes going on and perserving on something is very tedious... i realised it's important to cool down and recharge one's engine... only then can we move on to pursue one's dream... i think that shld be the way to move on in life... yups... jiayou jiayou jiayou!!! :)

after block test liao... although during physics paper i'm not feeling that well, but still managed thru... now i seemed more carefree... and oso i can think more clearly on my NUS H3 module... yups... that's wat i noticed... hahax
ystd talked to mrs wang with aaron, wilson and dwayne on msn... but the whole conversation a bit chaotic... and i think i'm crapping... dunnoe leh... the whole conversation is really messy... but quite nice lar... actually
watched "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" trailer on 19/3 liao... i muz say "I WANT TO WATCH!!!!!"... i think it's going to be a nice film... and juz as funny as the 2nd movie... hahax... but the funny part is when chow yun fat saying "Welcome to Singapore"... it's a bit odd... and his image is really very odd... dunnoe wat to say... but i think it's going to be a pleasure watching this film... hahax... oso waiting to watch "Spiderman 3", "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and maybe "The Simpsons Movie in 2D"... hahax... although quite childish, but this is the cartoon i always like when i was in kindergarden... then really want to recall the moments... and this is the only movie this year that will be in 2D... actually i've already watched the trailer in YouTube... and they claimed that this movie is 18 years in the making... yups... hahax :)

now is the march holiday... but dunnoe considered holiday or not? it's like mugging time... and considered "lesson break", and not holidays... haiz... block test coming... next monday to wednesday... and it'll be over soon... hehe... but dunnoe wat to do after that... maybe go play pool... hahax... i dunnoe... but muz perform well for block test... cos a lot of teachers have high expectations on me, but juz that they show it on their faces
in exactly one month and a week, my NUS H3 module will be over... but now a bit hectic... cos the chapters getting more confusing... and lectures are ending later than the stipulated time... sometimes from the usual 1.5 hrs lecture to a 2 hrs lecture... hahax... but can slack a bit... cos the lecturer considers us as adults... so that means we can think for ourselves... but better think the right way... hahax :)
but sianz... didn't really do well for my mid-term test... expected more from myself... but in actual fact, university test or exam is a totally different feeling... and it's no joke at all... so better take it very seriously... but at least i can get to experience it now... so that means i can be more adequately prepared when i enter into university after NS... hahax :)

i understand that there's an earthquake in sumatra ystd... and tremors can be felt at some parts of s'pore... mainly yishun, serangoon, sengkang and many more... but apparently i didn't feel anything in my sch ystd... so that means i'm considered lucky... haiz... actually i want to experience it... cos i want to have a feel of the real situation... from wat i understand, it can be felt in sajc and rjc... but for the rest of the sch, i'm not so sure... but i muz pity the indonesians... having to go thru and suffer many earthquake incidents... after we can't blame anyone cos it's mainly due to geographical positioning... nobody can do anything... so that's it... watever... i'm being random again :)
haiz... block test coming... dun feel like studying... juz feel like sleeping and sleeping and still sleeping... but after wat i witness in the hall on friday, then i noe the pressure is on us... heard that this year's nyjc A Level results was the best in 10 years... so that means we have to continue this trend... or further improve it... and oso in less than 2 mths time, my NUS H3 module is going to be over... hahax... will really miss NUS by the time the module ends... but i've committed myself in entering into NUS... that's my dream... so that means mus jiayou!!! :)

juz went to my grandfather's hse for chinese new year visit... hahax... watched "Heroes" on my cousin's laptop... it's really a nice serial drama... it's about a group of people who are human beings, but they have special abilities that is passed down through genetic factors... there's a japanese who can teleport and control time... and one who has split personality... really interesting... and in addition, a taxi-driver, whose father is dead, wanting to complete his father's research about human evolution... i like the show :)
then went to ikea tampines with my family... ikea simply rox... the furniture concepts are totally unique... and the warehouse store is simply wat it is... i really have nothing to say... and we shopped there for around 1.5 hours... quite long... i think... hahax

have not blogged for a long time liao... been really tired these past few days... lectures for the NUS H3 module is on monday and wednesday... and tutorials and lab sessions are coming soon... muz jiayou!!! cannot let my self down... and i muz perservere... hahax
once i took this module, i always remind myself about my dream... and i cannot give up so easily... that's for sure... so jiayou!!!
ystd watched project superstar female contestant finals... and the performances are really pleasant... then during the last round, they were supposed to sing chen wei lian's "chu mo"... and when i watched carrie singing, it really touched my heart very deeply and i almost cried :'( it's like her rendition of this song is flawless and her voice is very suitable for this song... i was engrossed into the song... dunnoe why... quite odd for a male to be touched... but i juz want to listen to her rendition again and again and again... hope this song will be played over the radio... hahax
actually i feel that carrie yeo had come a long way till this stage... and she duly deserves it... so let's see on the result show... after all, anything is possible... hahax

first week of sch is gone... and now heading to the second week of my JC2 life
now i'm in NUS H3 module, and wat i'm thinking is that the time left for myself... it's like i have lecture on monday and wednesday at NUS... and the tutorial group and computing lab group are yet to be confirmed... and once it's confirmed, i think i'll be fully packed... but actually i should not be complaining about this... cos that is my choice... and going thru this module may be the path towards my dream
i always believe that everybody has their own dreams... and once it's set, one should strive for it... and this is currently the case... even though they do not have one, they'll realise it eventually
actually i was juz thinking of the expectations that miss lim gave me last year... although i may be fully packed, nothing is impossible... so i muz strive for this goal... to avoid any disappointment

2dae is the second day of 2007... so once a new year starts, forget about the past and start everything afresh... hahax... and let's make everything as wonderful as the previous years :)
2006 was a fulfilling year... that's for sure indeed... when i came to NYJC, and when i met 0621, it has allowed me to experience a brand new life... the people are absolutely fantastic... and there were times when we really had fun... playing pool, k-box, ice-skating (although i wasn't there cos went to play pool), playing lan... and not to forget playing soccer (with wilson teaching me "informally")... and of course the kayaking trip... hahax... wat a wonderful year it is for me
in addition, i've oso learnt to treasure my parents and my sister... hahax... it was that year that i fully understand the importance of family... and the challenges that i've to overcome... wat everlasting memories
2007 is definitely a year with more challenges... now i've accepted the offer of NUS H3 module... i'm now a little closer to my dreams... of course the process is never easy... but "when there's a will, there's a way"... and i'll strive to achieve my best... and life definitely gets more hectic... so we'll see wat 2007 awaits for me... hahax :)

hihi... juz came back from my kayaking camp and expedition... really a fulfilling 5D4N camp... and i got 1-star and 2-star cert... hahax... really satisfied :)
actually the most fulfilling part is the expedition round palau ubin... initially we were supposed to set off at 8.30am... but due to some delays and watever u think it is, we were two hours late and far behind schedule... and oso we were supposed to use the single plastic kayak (which is the dancer kayak), but in the end we used the double salom kayak made of fibreglass, which is faster and has better forward traction... actually while kayaking, i really used all my energy to pedal forward... but i juz cannot understand why it is so slow... i'm really sorry for my inefficiency... but later when i kayaked with jack, he thought a technique that allowed me to pedal faster... and it worked... hahax... really felt quite nice pedalling with him
however we pedalled so fast that we almost overtook our expedition leader, dickson... then we started chatting with him... hahax... it seems that his favourite question is: "What do u think my age is?"... and we got a shock when he said he is at our age... omg... he got 3-star and planning to take 4-star next year... hahax... maybe i can meet him at NUS cos he's taking NUS H3 module, which is Basic Physical Chemistry... hahax... then after that we kept pedalling non-stop towards Corny Island for our lunch, which is sandwich... and it happened that the mobile server down there is Maxis, which is a Malaysia mobile phone server... hahax... i kind of understand that cos we are really near Johor... after that i pedalled with Shu Heng and although we were quite slow, we managed to reach our destination, which is Pasir Ris Park... then we camped there for the night
the next day (which was ystd) Jack and i woke up at 5am to perform our sentry duty cos have to look after our double salom kayaks, spray deck, buoyancy vest and our pedals... then Jack played his hp music and it somehow acted as an alarm clock... hahax... Yan Hao was rather pissed off with that "alarm clock"... then at 8.30am, we set off back to Changi Beach, and i'm with Jack again... hahax... so the total distance from Changi Beach round Palau Ubin and towards Pasir Ris Park is 18.3km... and the total distance from Pasir Ris Park back to Changi Beach is around 3km... hahax... the journey back is really short
in the end the aftermath of the expedition is sunburn and more sunburn... hahax... i'm oso affected too... Aaron is the funniest... hair oso got sunburn... wat a joke
actually this 5D4N kayaking camp made me noe many people, especially Dickson, Darren, Eileen and Chris... and hahax... hope i can go back and kayak again to practise my skill... and i didn't noe that my cousin is oso a kayaking instructor in Changi Sea Sports Club... hahax... heard he got 3-star... so maybe i can learn form him... hahax :)

finally i'm blogging for the first time in more than a week... hahax... really no time to blog... always going out and then i'm tired... hahax :)
monday went to hand in $160 for the remaining amount for the kayaking expedition... so that means it costs a total of $270... wahhhhhhh... that's really expensive... but for the sake of the fun and experience, it's worth it... then after that jun an, joel, michelle and i went to the amy market to buy the stuff for the kayaking expedition for everybody... hahax... we bought 10 solid fuel holders, 10 solid fuels, 10 sets of mess tins, 4 pairs of commando gloves and whistles... quite hectic... i muz say
after that we went to sheng siong supermarket at ang mo kio to buy the foods for the kayaking expedition... wahhhhhhhhh... legenddddddd... it's really a joker... the supermarket pathway is really narrow... FIERCEEEEE!!! in addition, we bought 30 cans of luncheon meat, 24 packets of instant noodles, 8 boxes of cereals, more than10 cans of campbell soup, more than 10 cans baked beans and oso more than 10 cans of tuna.... wahhhhhhhh... that's really fierce... then it's really a joker... michelle went to borrow the trolley from the supermarket and loaded everything onto the trolley... and everybody were watching us pushing the trolleys to the taxi boot... hahax... that's really fierceeeeeeee... then we went to michelle's house to pack the stuff into plastic bags... hahax... total we spent more than $100, including the taxi fare... but the taxi fare was quite cheap... so quite insignificant.. hahax :)
finally i got into NUS H3 Maths programme... quite shocked actually cos i didn't even apply for it... i think the school applied for me without letting me noe... hahax... so now one step closer to my dreams... and muzdefinitely work hard to strive for my dream... hahax :)

hahax... haven't blogged for a week plus... really dunnoe wat to blog... but still i'm blogging now... watever
one and a half weeks to the kayaking expedition... now starting to get to get busy with it... i'm in charge of the logistics... and it's very important... cos without the logistics u cannot proceed with the event... hahax... so i suppose i play an important role... hahax... juz joking :)
but still, there's meetings here and there... ystd went to amkss to check in the tents, gas canisters and gas stove... wahhhhhhhh... can only wear shoes inside... watever... have to respect the rules... so i can't help it... luckily joel and i wore shoes... then yan hao, jun an, hek ming and min jun were stuck outside the school compound cos they were wearing slippers... but they went to eat at macdonalds first... then after that we went to army market to check out the price of the items needed
so i think next week have a whole stuck of money to collect... then the real thing will start from this saturday onwards... finalising the logistics and food... then buying the stuff... and so on and so on :)
finally mastered the mass dance move... and it's really interesting... i like it quite a lot... hahax :)

ystd went to ECP to have bdae celebration for jun an, jin hao and sarah... then we only reached at around 5pm... cos we took damn legenddddddd longggggggg to prepare the food
actually we went to aaron's hse to prepare the food... and he's still asleep at 11am... hahax... can understand... cos he worked OT at Swissotel the previous day... only reached home at 3.30am... then it seemed that he was semi-awake... hahax... then we prepared the spagetti and pizza. i was in charge of pouring the flour for joel so that he can make the dough for the pizza. initially it really sux cos the dough was really soggy... then it got better... then halfway thru wilson came and he did nothing... only looked at aaron's brother and cousin play maple and dota
after that joel, hek ming and simon went to jibin hse to bake the pizza and cook the spagetti... tricia was oso at jibin baking the cookies... then they really took legendddddddd longggggggg to cook the food... during the process of waiting i cooked the sausages and mushrooms for the spagetti... and we waited till around 4 plus... no choice lor... before ate lunch at aaron's hse and played tai-di
then finally when we are at ECP, we started eating... and the pizza is really nice... and we celebrated their bdae... jun an bdae present was the Adidas Teamgelist soccer ball that joel brought from china... wahhhhhh... it's damn cheap lor... S$14 only... and it's the real product... 14 panels combined together... but juz that it's knitted together instead of using thermal technology to attach the panels together... hahax... then played Atoms and Molecules and then went home at around 9 plus... reached home at 10.30pm

it's already day 9 working for my father... then he's going to new zealand tml, so not working all the way till 15/12... so that means i can stay at home and finish up my holiday assignments and do some revision... hahax... really tired after working :)
work is basically assisting my father to deliver goods... wahhhhhhhhh... deliver till my arms got really pain when i straighten it... but now it's fine liao... but nvm... the best thing is lunch is provided free down there... hahax... and the food is fantastic
juz now went to check my email and i realised that the mass dance for Orientation 1 2007 is up on youtube liao... i muz say it's quite easy to get the flow of it... and sounds a little of remix to me... but that's good... at least can groove to the beat... hahax :)
now i can't wait for the kayaking expedition... and Orientation 1... it's going to be damn happening and fun... the class effort is worth it... especially angie, joel and michelle... they've put in lots of effort in planning Orientation 1 and the kayaking expedition... and it's the time to see the results... and it's going to work!!! that's for sure... hahax :)

hahax... have not blogged for a week... cos started working for my father since wednesday... accompanying him do delivery... quite fun actually... at least can travel around Singapore... hahax :)
ystd went to the Singapore Indoor Stadium to watch a contemporary dance performance... supposed to have a lot of people going... then in the end there are some lame reasons like went to such performances so many times and watching tv... hahax... it's their decision... so can't criticise about it... in the end jun an, michelle, bao bao (last minute), sarah and sok hua (with cca) came
actually the performance is fine... but if u dun appreciate such performances, u may not be able to understand... but somehow i managed to get the gist of the whole performance... so not too bad
sianz... read the newspaper on wednesday... the 2nd season of goong will be named "Goong S"... everything will be totally different, except the theme... hahax... but i'll still buy the vcd... cos i feel that there muz be some continuity in watching goong... so i'm waiting... although the show will be released in korea on 10th january 2007
if i get into MOE H3 Maths, then i muz work very hard... cos it's harder, as stated by miss lim... but for the sake of my dreams, the result that u get is priceless and everything is definitely worthwhile... hahax :)

thursday went to marina bay to eat steamboat... i think that was considered a class gathering... sort of i think... and we went to a restaurant where u can eat live prawns... and oso crab... hahax... $12 was quite worth it :)
we oso invited 0617 people... the 1st three month class... then they never really change... everything is still the same... so nothing special... then out table consist of dwayne, kai heng, jin hao and i... then it was as if we were "pro-act-noob"... we took the cooked food and lots of satay... then we barbecued slowly and steadily and it was as if we put the raw food into the soup and we ignored about it... then jin hao was like happily playing with the live prawns and it seems he loves it... i think so lar... that's my prediction... hahax... i think our table was the least lively in terms of cooking the food... hahax
then after that went to arcade to see them daytona usa... hahax... it's proven on that day that automatic driving is better than manual driving... in beginner and advanced track... hahax... then saw tie xuan playing "house of the dead 4"... he's really a pro at that game... and he knows the storyline really well... after that we went to play pool... but we only played for an hour... cos it's $8.40 per hour... and it's really expensive lor... and jeremy is really pro at pool... and he can perform a chip successfully... hahax
after that we quickly went home cos it's already 10 plus and we had to go to school for holiday lectures the next day... but the time i reached home it's already 11.30pm... then i was really tired liao... so after taking a shower i went to sleep after an hour of watching tv programme :)

ystd was tricia's bdae... so really muz say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"... although it's belated... but i've wished her liao... cos i'm her "uncle"... then aaron is her "father"... hahax... and her hse was really tall... 4 storeys high... and it's like it's enough for u to exercise ur leg muscle if u climb constantly everyday... and i think her hse is the biggest among our class... should be... i think... and the bdae celebration was really fun
we sang karaoke at the 4th storey in the karaoke room... then we played Halo 2, bluff and so on... we really had fun... and there was a buffet for her bdae... hahax... evrybody had fun :)
the most joker thing is our class choir... during the cutting of the birthday cake, joel and simon divided us into soprano, tenor, alto and bass... then we sang the birthday song... it's really damn funny... actually we tried that in the karaoke room... and we sang using bass... and it was like... i dunnoe lar... the rest is for the readers to fill up... hahax
then stayed there till around 10pm... then my parents fetched me home

yups... 2dae went to boat quay to support NYDB in the river regatta... hek ming and jun an are participating, so our class went down to support... hahax... reached there at around 1.30pm... jack and his brother, min jun, jin hao, michelle, angie, joel and jeremy were there
NYDB was in the top 10... and this competition is an open competition... so you'll see teams from SIM, SAF, NJC alumni, the polytechnics and so on... i think they've worked hard for this moment... so all their efforts are very much indeed worth it :)
saw miss lim down there... and she was taking photos... then we saw the art piece entitled "Miracle"... the one where there'll be downpours at intervals under the tree... hahax... the meaning behind this piece is about hope and light down the path... since 2dae is the last day of the Singapore Biennale, i juz stood the tree and let myself be drenched... the feeling wasn't bad... and although i really got drenched, it's really worth it... i muz say this art piece is really unique and of master class... i hope so... hahax :)
as the day passes, i'm feeling the pressure... whether i can achieve my goals, the result will be out soon... whether i get it or not, i'll juz have to accept reality

ystd went to school for OP rehearsal... mine more or less ok liao... juz need to calm down and relax on that day... which is on friday... hahax
then wanted to go to NYP to eat with the class... decided to wait for the "Shanghai" guys... wahhhhhhhhh... we waited for like an hour plus and they weren't out yet... haiz... so we decided to proceed first
hahax... simon and joel waited for us at the place near the void deck... then yan hao and ji bin waited for us at the bus stop... it's like two groups of people seemingly so distant and they didn't meet each other... ok... i'm crapping :)
the thing is that the 853 bus that we boarded was super packed... juz like a scramble egg... or packed sardine... so packed that min jun, joel, dwayne, yan hao, joel, ji bin, tricia and me were standing near the entrance... and it was super packed... juz LEGENDARY!!! hahax... the level is totally unbelievable :)
then when we finally reached NYP, it was total salvation... hehe... then went there to eat... and the food is... u noe... dun want to say... the rest is for the readers to imagine... hahax
but a bit odd lor... it seems we are the only group of people in half-u... and the rest are wearing home clothes... hahax... watever
after that went to grassroots club... min jun, aaron, joel and i left first... haiz... really tired at the end of the day

actually ystd chinese paper was quite ok... shouldn't a problem... i supposed... but noe chinese is over... hahax... one subject less means less burden... hahax :)
ystd finally found the storyline for goong 2... and it's called "Prince Hours"... cos the story now revolves round the prince... who is actually a commoner and doesn't even noe he has the blood of the royal palace
so all the cast have changed... so should expect a different atmosphere... and it's going to be shown in korea on january 2007... hahax... can't wait to buy the vcd
btw... goong (Princess Hours) is really worth watching... and the songs are really fantastic... u can juz listen over and over again... hahax :)
next saturday having sec sch class bbq at East Coast Park... really want to go there and play soccer with the guys again... hahax... really want to play soccer bare-footed... then maybe having 0621 class chalet... but i really dunnoe about that... after that may be having Mount Ophir trip... but that one is not confirmed yet... hahax... can climb mountain again... and with a sense of achievement after that... hehe :)

2dae got back our result slips... i'm satisfied with my results... after the amount of effort i've put in... cos i think the NTU H3 Maths is my motivation... hahax... now i'm eligible for H3 subjects... so i think it's time for me to work hard for my dream... hahax :)
i understand that when i take H3 Maths, there's definitely a price to pay... it's something that money can never buy... but for the sake of our dreams, the price that we pay is always worth it... although the process maybe excruciating and torturous... hahax... i assume
now i've watched goong till episode 15... hahax... 9 more episodes to go... so muz progress steadily... hahax :)

and oso i've been constantly watching goong... watched till episode 11... my progress was rather steady... 1 episode per day... hahax... now having some internal war and conflict... shall not tell much... or else people will say i'm a spoiler... and to cousin lynn... pls dun tell me the whole story... i knew u watched the whole drama four times... hahx :)
frankly speaking... to comment on the show... Chaegyung is really cute... and Hyorin is really pretty... have the looks to be a princess... hahax... juz some of my thoughts :)
btw, it seems everybody is crazy over goong... but i can't deny that it's really a fantastic korean drama... hahax
btw... our class is participating in the games day on monday... hahax... form a team of seven and play five sports, namely soccer, basketball, dodgeball, captain ball and floorball... wahhhhhhhh... that means have to play all five games... then using point collection system, a winner will be determined by the end of the day... hahax
our class has sent two groups to participate... hehe... have somehow practised for the games day liao... now i think it's the matter of being able to perform on that day... but at the end of the day, it's juz for the sake of fun... so no real competition :)

actually wanted to borrow from my cousin... then she burnt it to a blank disc and she deleted everything... wahhhhhhhhhhh... that was really a waste of resources... i assume... hehex
haiz... now i've been reflecting on the decisions that i've made in life... it's definitely not easy... sometimes i really dun want to think about it... and the fact is that sometimes it's hard to accept... but i think the most fruitful decision i've made is the guts to take H3 Maths... many people say it's really not easy... but i've the interest in Maths... and such a decision is a big leap towards my dream... i really want to pursue my dreams... and i want to get into NTU Major Maths course... slowly... hopefully my Maths promos is a boost towards my goals... and with the support from everywhere... especially Miss Lim, after what she said to me after the night study programme where she believes i can make it :)
btw... juz now Mrs Wang asked me whether i want to participate in Singapore Physics Olympiad... haiz... i rejected her request... u noe... i really prefer Maths... and that's not going to change... a dream is meant to be pursued... believe in urself and strive for ur dreams
yup... rmb this sentence... this was wat i oso told to my sec2 class last year... "Believe in yourself and strive for your dreams"... jiayou jiayou jiayou :)

ok... 2dae is friday... actually nothing much... but i'm juz a little worried about my results... haiz
really want to chiong pw and do well for it... i do agree that it's the easiest subject to score if we really put in the effort... but the reality is: "Do we want to do so?"... haiz... juz to ponder about it
actually not easy... but have to do so... this is the reality... sometimes we juz have to accept it
thinking back... i do have lots of regret... sometimes i juz cannot accept it... maybe it's because of me being foolish or naive... i'm not sure
but the fact is that i tell myself not to dwell about the past mistakes... i agree it's good for self-reflection and personal development... but we have to move on... always look on the bright side of life and move on... if we keep worrying about the past, then i think we will juz remain stagnant... so move on and be stronger... only in this way then we will learn and understand ourselves better

wahhhhhhhhh... 2dae was the last paper... hahax... finally there's liberation :)
chemistry paper 1 and 2 was ok... considered quite easy... definitely not as bad as paper 3... where that one was considered a demoraliser... and oso there's sufficient to finish the paper... hahax
then physics paper 1 and 2 was really conisdered a pure killer... paper 1 was quite ok... but paper 2 was... LEGEND!!! the first 4 questions was rather ok... but i was stunned at the last question... wahhhhhhhh... happily give us lots of data and expect us to answer the whole question... then dunnoe muz calculate the maximum efficiency with a strange formula... sianz... dunnoe wat to say about that
haiz... although i rather happy that the promos are over... but still have pw and A level Chinese... sianz... then i'm quite afraid of the overall results... haiz... 27/10 is the day where our fate will be decided... haiz... nvm... juz look at the bright side of life... stay happy and smile always... hahax :)

2dae was physics paper 3 and economics... physics was ok... mrs wang say it's going to be quite hard lor... but when i received the paper, then i was thinking: "if you've studied hard, then this paper should be a breeze"... to me, it's quite ok... not too bad actually... hahax :)
then economics is like total rush hour... it's like when i received paper 1... which is the case study... then i immediately read the extract and the qns... and i juz CHIONG!!! it's like u totally dun have sufficient time to stop and take a deep breath and calm urself... it's literally impossible... wat to do with an hour... hahax :)
then when i received paper 2... which is the essay questions... i juz looked at it and planned it in my brain... then i juz continue chionging... wahhhhhhhhh... 45 minutes is a little too short... but wat to do... hahax :)
finally wednesday is the last paper... chemistry paper 1 and 2 and physics paper 1 and 2... i'm dying for this moment... actually everybody is oso dying for that... wahhhhhhhhh... end at 5pm... nvm... juz give myself the last surge of energy and reach for the finishing line... jiayou jiayou jiayou!!!
btw... 2dae played soccer... hahax... won 1-0... that means we won 0617... hahax... dunnoe how many times i headed the ball for a clearance... but it's not easy... juz be gradual and build up the momentum... but it's tiring to play continuously... nvm... i've found my preferred position... which is the right-back... but oso have to train left-back... muz be swift and versatile... hahax :)

ystd was considered a demoraliser... i mean the later part of the day
had maths and chem paper 3 ystd... then the maths paper was totally awesome... it seems that i have overcome the paper and i'm enjoying the process... really felt good about that... hope i will not disappoint miss lim and myself... she gave me the encouragement ystd morning... suddenly the motivation was there... hahax :)
but when the chem paper was done... wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! that's considered a demoraliser... almost everybody cannot finish the paper... the 1st qns was like a total waste of time... then the last three qns was actually very easy... but no time... wat to do... spending 1.5 hrs doing six qns... haiz... have to buck up for paper 1 and 2... especially paper 1, where it's the MCQ paper... hahax :)
monday having physics paper 3 and econs... hope can do well... i've already disappinted mrs wang... she has high expectations on me... supposedly i should improve... but it's actually a failure... haiz
then ms hazel want to see me scoring well for econs... cos she knows where i stand... and she believes i can do it... hahax... jiayou jiayou jiayou!!!
four more days and it's over... hahax :)

ok... i'm having study leave till thurs... actually suppose to be till tml... but i do not have any paper on thurs... mainly for art students... so more time to study... hahax :)
now taking some time off to blog... then after that chiong my maths and chemistry... wahhhhhhh... ystd gp and chinese paper was really tiring
actually gp was considered quite ok... did science and technology topic... felt confident about that... hahax... then paper 2 was oso quite ok
wahhhhhhh... but chinese is really killer... compo was ok... but paper 2 was a killer... the front part is fine... but not the part at the back... was stucked halfway through... then finished the paper on the dot... heaved a sigh of relief after that... two subjects down... now left four subjects... jiayou jiayou jiayou!!!
submitted my H3 Maths application form... now my priority is to do well for my promos... hahax... muz work hard :)
the pressure on scoring well for my maths is already there... it's gradually piling up... and i do not want to disappoint everybody... especially miss lim... after the "wonderful" results during mid-year... where it's consider a catastrophe at that time... or should i say "tsunami"
sometimes things are really unexpected... and i dunnoe wat it's going to happen any time... it's difficult at times... but sometimes life is full of surprises... i really dunnoe why

ystd i was in school from 6.30am to around 9.30pm... wahhhhhhh... really very long... and by that time i was going home then i ate my dinner... wahhhhhhh... really very tired... stayed back for night study programme
didn't noe miss lim is a happy-go-lucky teacher... she's easy-going and direct... hahax... same as me... very direct and straight-forward... as jun an, sarah and i were listening to her explanation, she was like diverting to another topic... hahax... she oso say watever i say has no link at all... so both of us are like getting nowhere and it was really very fun... actually i admit that wat i say usually has no link... but that's me... hahax
after that she initially agreed to let us see something... but in the end got scammed... she showed something which was cute but irrelevant at all... wahhhhhhhh... but like that picture... so cute!!! hahax... i'm like going nowhere :)
i've confirmed in registering for NTU H3 maths... Numbers & Matrices... starting next year... actually thought of going for the NUS one... but too far... the travelling time is like.... wahhhhhhh... LEGEND!!!
miss lim oso noe that i want to register for H3 Maths... and she gave me her full support... she believed that i can make it!!! hahax... miss lim is really a nice teacher... and she is an optimistic person... remembered she wrote this on our class soccer ball: "Stay Happy & Smile Always"... hahax... it's true
and ystd played soccer... same team as joel, simon and jun an... won 6-1... i was playing goalkeeper... but was a nice feeling playing keeper at the netball court... actually it's considered refreshing... hahax... save quite a number of wilson's shot... not really that bad

four days to promos... i'm studying like dunnoe wat to say at all... really want to do well so as to satisfy myself... juz gotten the H3 Maths application form... hahax... starting to love maths even more than ever before
realised that ms hazel is really a nice teacher... she puts in lots of effort to ensure everyone does their best for Economics... she is the one that helped me realise that i'm can score well for Economics... her comments are invaluable and it's priceless... no matter how much u pay, it is totally inequivalent to the amount of effort she has put in... not like some people who doesn't noe how to appreciate somebody's effort abd juz want to escape from the truth and reality... haiz... really feel like giving that person one big smack and ask that person to do some soul-searching
actually i've come to realise that if we work hard, we are actually repaying back to our teachers... imagine the fact that every teacher puts in their utmost effort to teach us and they dun get appreciated for their blood and sweat... hahax... this is somethingthat i've been thinking... now i've disappointed mrs wang... cos i'm really underperformed for physics
then i've not disappointed miss lim... looks like she's happy on the inside... and for everyone who has done well and show improvements in their maths... and ms hazel... that's for sure... actually it's the same for all teachers... juz that i believe they keep their emotions inside... something that only that person will understand by themselves

yesterday was quite a fine day... especially u have ur last PE lesson of the year... hahax
played soccer during PE... lost 2-3... due to poor defending... i was playing forward... so can't really tell anything
then later after PE played soccer again within our class... hahax... won 4-2... my team consisted of me, hek ming, simon, jun an and tiat ming... jun an was like sprinting around the pitch... and he's not even tired at all... while all of us are like dropping dead... he actually ran non-stop from the left flank to the right flank and vice versa... i think at least three rounds... he's like a monster on the pitch... i think based on his stamina... he should be able to last beyond the penalty shootout in a soccer match... hahax
then after maths tutorial, we were in rush hour... in a hurry to complete our case study assignment... hahax... that's life... everything seems to be in a frenzy... then while going home with wilson, i realised everybody is studying at different corners of the school... hahax... promos coming... everybody mugging and studying hard

u see... it seems that everybody is in a frenzy of studying for promos... i suppose so... and we are trying to get maths papers from other schools to practise... after all, as the saying goes: "Practice makes perfect"... hahax
now the school is offering NTU H3 Maths on Numbers and Matrices... and to be good in Functions, Graphing Techniques and Vectors... thinking of getting into this programme... probably i'll choose TJC for this programme for one basic reason... distance... hahax
actually i've always have that interest in Maths and it's not going to fade away... really want to do well for Maths for this promos... dunnoe want to disappoint myself and Miss Lim and of course my parents... Miss Lim has high expectations for me after realising my potential... then my parents is always pinning their hopes on me... but not in a stressful manner... so it's quite ok
now it's considered madness... promos nearing... reality is setting in... so have to face it... life is juz like that... realised it's not easy to maintain the momentum in JC... but things will gradually settle down... hahax
now that she's preparing for promos... same as me... so it will be in the best interest of both parties to fully concentrate on getting promoted... that's really important... hahax

haiz... holiday coming to an end... actually was thinking this holiday was not a typical one
everyone is studying for their promos... same as me... cos everyone wants to be promoted
and now it's like i'm still studying... i think the momentum has already been there... and i cannot stop it... it has to go on and on and this is going never going to stop
yesterday went to singapore expo to volunteer for an inline skating event... then we were cheated... cos lynette told the IC that we were reaching at 9.30am... wahhhhhhh... i reached expo mrt station at 7.45am... really damn tired... cos i woke up at 4.30am... really damn early
but we went to slack first... and it seems that we were not doing our duty... we went to roller-skate and played badminton... then it happened that somebody went into the skating lane... haiz... didn't perform my duty
so after that went to guide the entrance and i was there stoning and slacking and watever u called it... it seems like nobody is participating and there's only one person skating round the track... haiz
then after that went to the food festival to try the food... or should i say free food... hahax... actually dwayne, yan hao, wilson, yong huan, jack and i wanted to wait for free maggi mee... but then i think the stall personnel noticed us staying around the stall waiting for the maggi mee and she didn't want to open up the lid... so all of us juz gave up and left... hahax
wondering how she is now... her promos oso coming... and both of us are quite depressed with our performance... haiz... have to move on with life... cos life is juz full of obstacles for us to overcome...

yesterday went for maths extra lesson... but went to school early to study with dwayne conicidentally... hahax... really want to score well for maths
then after the extra lesson went to play... hahax... won 6-4... then i finally scored hat-trick (3 goals) with simon ... dunnoe wat happened to me... i'm not usually like this... i muz say i'm inconsistent... hahax
then 2dae after econs extra lesson oso went to play soccer... won 7-1... wilson scored 4 goals... together with jun an and simon... but i sux 2dae... really lor... really inconsistent... muz pull up my socks... but it's a team effort... not one-man show... hahax... considered thrashing
but germany vs san marino is really considered pure thrashing... 13-0... i muz say it's unbelievable... germany are known for its unique attacking football... as shown in the 2006 World Cup... that's wat i like... attacking football with an unique edge and dimension... hahax

hahax... ystd was teachers' day celebration... then the celebration in nyjc was really nice... except the bollywood dance for aces day... quite stupid actually
but the best part is when the teachers sang a duet and the live band... that one was damn nice... there's one female teacher who sang so flawlessly that jack even say can take part in project superstar... hahax... female audition on 9th september 06... hahax
then went back to holy high... was late by 30 minutes... then the 4hum'05 boys was already there... hahax... then had a talk with mr tan and mrs ganesan at the space
while talking about our sec sch days... i admit that we were a little childish... but it leaves everlasting memories... that's for sure
then i was so-called momentarily numb when i heard about her news... i noe that she is considered struggling... that's wat i heard... then i was like really worried
actually wat i thought was that she wanted to challenge herself and prove to herself that nothing is impossible... this is juz an opinion... but i think that she will be a stronger person after overcoming these obstacles
it's really not easy... i understand... and the fact is that she never give up... that's for sure... actually i marvel her for her decision
from wat i understand... she wants to continuously push herself and not slacken down... but knowing that she's getting sick now and then... it really hurts my heart

haven't been blogging for a few days... been really busy
especially with the written report and gp project... wah... really can make my head go burst
got back my maths test liao... hahax... finally got an A... hahax... but it's still not the end yet... have to continue to work hard and jiayou!!!
promos will definitely not be that easy... that's for sure... so muz work hard and jiayou!!!
thurs going back to sec sch... and can play soccer... finally i have been waiting for this time... so that i can recall the moments we had at the street soccer court at punggol... but this time it's at upper court
hahax... now keep playing with wilson, simon, jun an, yong huan, dwayne and many more... hahax... slowly learning from them... and i'm now catching up... i think... actually... love that goal when i scored directly from the right flank... not easy... and it was not intended to be a cross... hahax

2dae during ct period, ms shahida said about the nyaa scheme... and the fact that the principal knew about it... and she say if u want to participate, make sure it is within our coping circle
the moment she said... i was like... rather numb... i really dunnoe wat to say
actually why i wanted to take part in nyaa is to experience something different in life... cos i believe nyaa will allow me to open the different doors of life
but knowing that i'm considered lucky... i know that i should continue
since we have done so far, continue striving till the end... muz jiayou!!!
sometimes i think i'm lucky to keep my pet tortoise... still rmb wheni always look at him and dunnoe wat i will do

another hectic week gone... maths test was ok... easier than the previous lecture test
